Subsolar climbs up Japanese charts

Thanks to Elegant Apps, who put Subsolar on their front page, the game is having a good run in Japan. It has made 42 in the Puzzle category, beating my favorite iOS game Osmos. Here’s the link to Elegants App for those who want to brush on their Japanese:

We also got a great review from App Plus One. Here’s what they have to say about Subsolar:
“Subsolar for iOS is a gorgeous sci-fi puzzle game…”
“Nicely Built, great art and sound.”

Subsolar Music Give away

Chris Huelsbeck is not only talented. He’s also generous. So we’re going to give away full length mp3s of two tracks of the game Subsolar. One of them is the complete version of the trailer music (survival mode in game). The other one is the great fast beat track of the mission mode.

So what do you have to do to get these, you ask? Simple enough. Send us a screenshot of Subsolar (one that you have done with your copy of the game) to info@tenshinoir.com.

We’ll send you a link to download your music. That simple!

Thank you Chris and thank you guys for playing our game.

Subsolar featured by Apple! Makes the top 100!

After only a day on the App Store, Subsolar is doing great! It has been featured in the New & Noteworthy section of the US and Canadian stores. And the game is still going up the charts in several more countries, including Germany, Japan, and Italy.

We entered the top 100 in the Puzzle category of the US App Store. It’s a landmark in our little indie developer history! Our warmest thanks to everyone who supported the game so far and please go and review it on the App Store to help it even more!

Subsolar reviewed on AppSpy

AppSpy gave a 4 out of 5 to Subsolar today. The reviewer loved the game and was already a big fan of Love Battle Princess to which he gave 5/5. So why one point less you ask? Simply to stress out the fact that Subsolar isn’t a brand new game so to speak, but a re themed Love Battle Princess for underaged people or players who don’t care about a sexy game. Which was exactly our intention. So it’s fair game. Thanks for that great review, Andrew :)
